MATTHEW D. PETERMAN, CPA, PFS

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Matthew D. Peterman is the Managing Director and Founder of Towers Crescent Financial. He has extensive hands-on experience working with clients and providing leadership to his team to grow the firm by fostering long-term, deep-seated relationships with clients based on trust, integrity, and mutual respect.Matt is a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager for LPL Financial. Matt is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and a PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) with more than 23 years of comprehensive financial and tax experience. During his career, Matt served as the Director of Financial Planning and Investments for a regional CPA firm in the Washington, D.C. area; trained extensively with Russell Investments, named by the 2010 Pensions & Investments Consultant Directory as the third largest pension consultant in the world based on worldwide assets under advisement (AUA); and with KPMG Peat Marwick, one of the largest CPA firms in the world.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Longwood University where he was also the Editor in Chief of the school’s newspaper. Matt is a General Securities Principal and holds several securities registrations with LPL Financial including Series 7, 24, and 66.

As a resident of Northern Virginia for his entire life, Matt is a firm believer in community involvement; he is active in causes to raise money for various charities and serves as a volunteer on his Homeowners’ Association Board.
